Hometown Building Center has provided contractors and the general public with building materials, material estimating and design services since 1964.

We are looking for Accounting Specialist/Sales Representative that thrives in a sales environment. You must be comfortable with accounting tasks, making phone calls, working with vendors, answering customer questions and offering customer advice.

Responsibilities

• Inventory accounting - Maintain proper inventory levels
• Create customer orders and invoices, then verify for accuracy
• Create vendor orders and verify invoices for accuracy
• Understand customer needs and requirements
• Process material lists for quoting
• Schedule material deliveries with customers
• Complete customer transactions
• Have working knowledge of products sold

Skills

• Knowledge of gernal accounting processes
• Customer service experience/sales experience
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Strong listening and presentation skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Proficient computer skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
