The AP Specialist is responsible for all accounts payable functions for the company, including but not limited to:

· Daily processing of AP invoices, PO matching, proper GL coding and ensuring internal controls

· Ensure imaging of invoice-supporting documents is timely and accurately performed

· Reconcile invoices with purchase orders to ensure accuracy of charges

· Verifying w/ Department Heads that invoices have been approved prior to processing payment

· Communicate with vendors regarding disputes and/or problems with invoices

· Reconcile AP ledger with bank statements

· Process electronic transfers and checks to pay bills

· Process expense reports on a regular basis

· Perform data entry associated with AP

· Perform credit card reconciliation

· Assist with audit support

Minimum Education Requirements & Experience Qualifications

Associates Degree in Accounting and 2 years of Accounts Payable experience (preferably in a manufacturing environment). Please do not apply if you do not have these credentials.

Ability to commute

This position is hybrid remote, requiring 2 days in our Cave City, KY office. A laptop and dual monitors will be provided for home office
