Where you'll work:
Our hybrid workplace model offers the freedom to work fully remote or occasionally in one of our offices. This is a remote position with a hybrid option for candidates based in Charlotte, NC.

How you'll contribute:
As an Actuarial IT Project Management Associate, you will assist with the management of Actuarial technology platforms which comprises Prophet applications on Prophet Managed Cloud Service (PMCS). This role collaborates with the Brighthouse Technology Delivery teams, Actuarial Valuations, and data teams to ensure overall coordination of an Integrated Delivery.

In this role, you'll get to:
  • Support the planning and oversight of the Actuarial Release Management (also known as Operational Readiness). This includes coordination throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) with key technology and business partners.
  • Support Actuarial Project Managers on product specific changes and coordination of product release plan and execution
  • Manage Rally/JIRA across Actuarial Product teams; including Teams
  • Coordinate new work change requests (Demand) for Actuarial, this includes:
    • Ensuring new requests are documented and presented on the TMO demand call
    • Actuarial Impacts are populated as required
    • Supporting Actuarial Project Managers in integrating Approved Demands into product roadmaps
  • Coordinate Release Management processes to ensure Actuarial Readiness against the BHF Change Management Process. This includes:
    • Coordination of Release Management (sign-off's, cutover prep, etc.) and other operational readiness activities
    • Close coordination with Actuarial Technology teams
    • Coordinating of Actuarial Status Reporting, including Steering Committee
    • Managing the Actuarial SharePoint
    • Managing partnerships with all business and technology partners
    • Collecting and analyzing key performance metrics from various sources and using management analysis tools to create the cross functional view and full scope of work to be completed in each project, including identification of optimization opportunities that should be included in future work

We're looking for people who have:
  • Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years related field experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of portfolio analysis or project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices and change management techniques.
  • Advanced skills in business management tools including Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio, and Project
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills, including ability to negotiate with stakeholders to achieve common outcomes.
  • Ability to pull detailed plans into an integrated program view, to ensure accuracy in reporting status.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to respond to changing needs and shifting priorities.
