What does an Agile Product Owner do at Swire Coca-Cola?

As an Agile Product Owner in Swire’s Enterprise Research and Analytics, you are responsible for leading world-class data science and analytics teams to build products that will empower our associates to serve customers. As an end-to-end owner, you will work with stakeholders and field associates alike to understand their needs and prioritize and translate these needs for a cross-functional team of experts (engineers, analysts, scientists, researchers) working to build the best possible user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leads (does not manage) cross-functional teams of experts to build data products that will drive revenue, lower costs, increase our speed, and reduce our risk
• Partners with a scrum master to prioritize, lead, and facilitate the work of an agile team
• Facilitates powerful conversations with stakeholders, users, and experts to understand, empathize with, and explore/develop their needs
• Proactively imagines how tools, technologies, and solutions our experts can build might meet these needs, drawing on specialists for inspiration
• Plays a leading role in delivering and promoting the product they lead – including implementation, advocacy, training, and gap resolution

Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in Business or STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) or related field required
• 5+ years’ experience working on cross-functional teams to produce technology products
• 3+ years’ experience identifying opportunities for business improvement using data (or tech)
• 2+ years’ work in a client-facing or client service capacity
• Fluency interpreting data and using data to address business problems
• Demonstrated ability to independently explore new data to discover opportunities and trends
• Experience working in an agile development environment
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Strong user experience and client service orientation
• Up to 25% travel with overnight stays
