Responsibilities:
Personnel in this position must be able to perform a variety of fixed-post, mobile, or foot patrols while maintaining situational awareness and making decisions and/or taking actions consistent with established post orders, facility rules, guidelines, and protocols. Other duties include but may not be limited to security patrols, access control, security-related personnel escort duties, traffic, report writing, parking control, law, and order duties, as well as security and fire safety surveillance. Duties may include work in inhospitable and uncomfortable conditions for prolonged periods of time, including periods of inclement weather, while performing walking, standing, searching, and surveillance or sitting duties essential to the performance of the security functions.
Preferred Experience:
Minimum of two (2) years of security (armed) or one (1) year of law enforcement experience in a full-duty status with a full-service police department in a municipality, state, or federal law enforcement department within the US, and have resigned or retired in good standing. Or a minimum of two (2) years of honorable service as a member of the US Armed Forces component.
