Job Description
Jolly Bean Cafe is seeking a self motivated individual and team player to join our team and support the front end of the cafe in its daily operations. The Barista must be a friendly multitasker able to thrive in a fast paced work environment. S/he must be eager to learn and possesses strong customer service skills. Must be able to take orders, perform as cashier or barista as needed.

Responsibilities

• Follows opening and closing procedures for FoH
• Greets and interacts with cafe guests in a kind and professional manner
• Prepares coffee and espresso based beverages in a sanitary and timely manner
• Maintains a clean and sanitary work environment
• Follows beverage recipes and ensures quality and taste
• Processes customer orders with precise attention; handles money with accuracy
• Restock items as needed throughout the shift
• Perform other tasks related to front end operation as needed

Requirements

• Previous counter staff, barista, or front of house experience preferred
• Strong customer service experience preferred
• Ability to multitask
• Ability to accept and follow clear directions
• Ability to process transactions through POS system
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
