The Hops is looking for a bartender/bar back with a positive attitude and ability to work as a team member. We are a fast paced environment and we pride ourselves on helping each other out, so both bartending and serving experience is preferred. The position will start at part-time and evolve over the next couple months as we get busier. Duties include:

• Verify identification and age requirements of customers
• Mix traditional and creative cocktails
• Process payment from customers
• Clean glasses and bar utensils
• Make suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences
• Record and balance cash receipts and prepare cash deposits
• Open and maintain tabs throughout their shift
• Build a rapport with regular customers to create a positive atmosphere
• Serve tables when necessary.
• Be willing to follow recipes for cocktails to ensure consistency.

Ideally, we would like to find another person who is excited about craft cocktails, wine, beer and community.
