SUMMARY NEHP and sister company ENGVT are a specialty Design-Build firm with locations in Williston, VT, Dallas, TX, and Phoenix, AZ. We specialize in the design and off-site construction of process piping systems in semiconductor fabrication facilities. The chip production infrastructure in the US is expanding at a record breaking pace, with new "fabs" being built by major players like Intel, Micron, Samsung, and TSMC, and Global Foundries all over the US. We are a key partner involved in the construction of these multi-billion dollar projects due to our unique skillset in modular design and construction.
Each of our projects are approximately 300K SF of process piping routing, over 20 unique systems, and all associated BIM coordination, collision detection, plans and elevations, and detailed fabrication drawings for issue to the shop floor. Our VDC manager is responsible for orchestrating all of these deliverables and providing Revit based leadership, training, and oversite of our design teams. Our Design Manager remains the subject matter expert and is a dotted line reporting to the VDC Manager.
We envision this position being located in either our Phoenix or North Dallas facilities (fabrication shop with offices) where we assemble our off-site constructed modules. This allows the engineering team to see work in production and deal with design issues as they arise, and incorporate into our designs going forward.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following; other duties may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Work directly with other team members and project engineers, direct management of project design team, which varies with project. Work closely with Design and Project Managers to support their needs. VDC manager is the conduit between Design Manager and the project design team.
SPECIFICATIONS and QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or experience:
10+ years of process design experience. Experience performing pipe detailing for construction or as in-house mechanical contractor project engineering strongly preferred.
5+ years of design team management experience. Demonstrated ability to work well with larger teams in a leadership and mentorship role.
