Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute (FCS) is seeking an intelligent, compassionate, and dedicated Bone Marrow Biopsy APRN for our Vero Beach.

Requirements:

-Travel between Vero Beach, Stuart, and West Palm Beach offices.

-Bone Marrow Biopsy Experience

Monday - Friday Schedule (No evenings/weekend work).

Your practical experience as a working nurse and your expertise and advanced study will be an asset in assisting our medical oncologist/hematologist in the care and teaching of patients in an outpatient setting in our new free standing state-of-the-art clinic.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) OR Post-Masters Nurse Practitioner Certificate Program OR Physician Assistant (PA) Program
• Must hold current license/registration to practice in the state of Florida and have prescriptive privileges or eligible to apply
• Must hold the necessary certification from ANCC or ONS (AOCN-P)
• Must be BLS certified
• Fluency in the English language with verbal and written communication skills to communicate effectively to diverse populations, including physicians, employees, patients, and families is also required
• Leadership skills are necessary to direct others toward objectives that contribute to the successful treatment of patients
• Analytical skills are necessary to evaluate patients' status, health care procedure/ techniques and to monitor quality of patient care
• Fiscal skills are required to monitor and control costs and revenue
• Must have the ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion while performing duties is essential
• Valid Florida driver’s license for travel to clinics
• Must have clear driving record and appropriate levels of auto coverage
• A Motor Vehicle driving record check will be conducted post offer of employment
