Description:
The Risk and Compliance team is seeking a results-oriented and self-motivated individual to join our team as a EDM GRC Specialist. The EDM GRC Specialist will use a combination of comprehensive database and security knowledge to ensure that the EDM database platform maintains compliance with enterprise and industry security standards and controls. The ideal candidate will display both database and security knowledge, a strategic mindset, and the ability to analyze and prioritize efforts to identify and remediate risk effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain an understanding of the industry benchmarks for all database platform and product risks
• Maintain documentation of all security practices in EDM as they relate to industry benchmarks, THIP controls, and other tools used to evaluate risk
• Closely collaborate with GRC teammates to deliver quality data and solutions
• Evaluate new products as they relate to EDM security frameworks
• Support internal and external audit requests, delivering concise and timely responses
• Lead annual process to certify risk documentation
• Work with internal customers to evaluate risk exception requirements and remediation plans
• Evaluate output from database vulnerability scanning, identifying trends, root cause, and opportunities for remediation
• Evaluate reporting requirements and capabilities to ensure risk is accurately conveyed
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to provide risk assessments, requirements, and documentation
• Manage all work using Agile methodology with Rally work management tool

Qualifications:

• Strong written communication skills, including experience in leadership communications
• Excellent verbal communication and meeting facilitation skills
• Ability to assess, manage, and execute on multiple priorities
• Proficiency with MS tool suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerBI
• DBA experience including Oracle, SQL, and/or cloud database platforms
• Experience with reporting tools such as PowerBI and Tableau desired
• Experience working with Agile methodology and Scrum desired

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
