Business Development Manager Overview:

The Business Development Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and executing strategies to increase sales of metal building components as well as slit coil and flat sheet products. This individual will work closely with the General Manager to identify opportunities and develop new relationships with potential customers.

The Business Development Manager will also be responsible for understanding industry trends, identifying potential customers for targeted outreach, and developing and executing customer retention strategies. Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and revenue growth
  • Develop customer profiles and create targeted customer outreach strategies
  • Analyze customer needs and industry trends to identify new business opportunities
  • Foster and grow relationships with existing customers to increase sales and customer loyalty
  • Develop and execute pricing strategies to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers and partners
  • Identify and cultivate key customer relationships, lead customer meetings, and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Monitor customer feedback, customer satisfaction, and customer loyalty
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to potential customers
  • Work closely with sales team to ensure effective customer relationship management
  • Maintain customer information in Salesforce
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting on customer activity, sales results, and industry trends
  • Support customer service team in resolving customer issues
  • Develop and implement effective sales and marketing plans to achieve sales goals and increase market share
  • Design and execute a sales plan to achieve revenue and profitability goals
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and relationship-building
  • Attend industry trade shows and events to promote the company and its products
  • Analyze market trends and gather customer feedback to inform product development and sales strategies
  • Negotiate and close sales deals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure that business development efforts are aligned with company goals
  • Analyze market trends and identify areas for growth
  • Develop and deliver presentations to potential customers and partners
  • Achieve sales targets and quotas

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or related field.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of the building materials industry and customer needs.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast[1]paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Ability to think strategically and identify opportunities for growth
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with key customers and partners
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to sales and business development

Job Type: Full-time
