Job Summary:

Receives payment for products or services sold by the dealership and plays a key role in maintaining customer satisfaction for the business transaction.

Duties/Responsibilities:

● Answer multi-line phone systems in a timely, professional, and courteous manner.

● Ensure all calls are answered or transferred to voice mail if team members are unavailable.

● Receive payments for all parts and service transactions.

● Greets customers at the cashier window in a pleasant and professional manner.

● Computes customer bills.

● Receives cash, checks and credit card payments from customers; records amount received.

● Makes change and issues receipts to customers.

● Provides refunds to customers for returned merchandise or as directed by Manager.

● Answers customer questions about service performed or products purchased or refers them to someone who can.

● Handles customer complaints with integrity and when necessary, refers dissatisfied customers to the appropriate manager for resolution.

● Provides clerical and secretarial assistance.

● Multitasking at any one time.

● Direct customers to where they need to be.

● Maintains a professional appearance.

● Keeps work area neat and clean.

● Any other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

● High School diploma or GED

● One year of experience as a receptionist or similar role (preferred)

Physical Requirements:

● Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

● Must be able to lift-up to 15 pounds at times.
