How You'll Perform the Role

As a Class A CDL driver, you’ll perform a variety of waste collection and recycling functions, including collecting and transporting waste and recyclable materials from various onsite locations. You’ll work Monday through Friday and occasionally on Saturdays, ten hours a day with the ability to be flexible if needed. Job activities include but are not limited to, DOT pre- and post-trip inspections, communicating with Route Supervisor, monitoring gauges, operating hydraulic controls, emptying your truck at established disposal sites, cleaning the truck, demonstrating knowledge of recycling commodity classifications and grades of paper & plastics and lifting 75 lbs.

What We Need From You

The successful applicant will have a Class A CDL license with air brake endorsements, a High School Diploma or equivalent, a satisfactory CDL driving record, and at least one year of CDL driving experience. Having previous trash collection experience is desired, but not a requirement! We also want to protect you and those around you and require you to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated operations and production areas as stated by Pratt Safety and OSHA.
