ReindeerTek is seeking a Software Developer for a technical development program supporting a classified customer. This role designs, develops, and maintains existing software applications utilizing Java for microservice system. This role uses best practices and patterns to perform design, development, automated deployment of software modules via DevSecOps Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).

This role performs software systems development, including the design, development, troubleshooting, and debugging of software programs for software enhancements and new software-intensive systems and products. This also includes software tools and scripting languages used for design, development and maintenance of on-premises and cloud infrastructure and platforms. This role is responsible for identifying software and hardware dependencies and capacities.

Required Skills:

• Must have active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance prior to applying
• Experience writing, managing and updating microservices in Java 11
• Deep understanding of API driven logic to include Oauth/OIDC architectures
• Developing Restful APIs with swagger
• Java build automation such as Maven and/or Gradle
• Java frameworks such as Spring, Sprinboot, Hibernate and MVC

Desired Skills:

• Experience integrating APIs into COTS endpoints with custom and unique payload requirements
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure and architecture best practices for delivering web services
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and deployment processes such as Jenkins, Ansible or Puppet/Chef
• Experience with code version tools such as Github and branching/merging strategies
• Experience with virtualized environments
• Background in COTS integration and implementations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $210,000.00 per year
