Experienced Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse needed for busy Nephrology practice. Full time 40 hours weekly. No weekend or holidays. Responsibilities include basic clinic duties: rooming patients, obtaining patient histories, obtaining vital signs including blood pressures, weight and medication lists; collection of patient data and entry in EHR; scheduling appointments; answer phone; maintains inventory of clinic supplies; communication regarding changes in patient's condition to health team members; obtains prior authorizations for medications and tests; transmits medication refills; and other miscellaneous office duties as assigned.

Minimum requirements: High School Diploma or GED; LPN in Iowa or Medical Assistant certification preferred; 2 years experience required; Nephrology experience strongly preferred; Strong commitment to the delivery of customer-focused quality care; Excellent interpersonal, prioritization, organizational, and critical thinking skills; Positive attitude to contribute to positive team spirit only apply!
