Job Description :

The Construction Project Office Administrator is responsible for managing the office and administrative functions of a project field office for Hamilton Construction Co. – a heavy civil contractor in business since 1939.

The perfect candidate for this position will be a detail-oriented multi-tasker with excellent oral/written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills needed to work collaboratively and effectively with the project management team, owner (Oregon Dept. of Transportation), Grand Ronde Tribal members, subcontractors, vendors, and field workers. The successful candidate will have experience and enjoy working in a fast-paced but casual work environment.

Previous experience should include payroll (prevailing wage experience helpful but not required), accounts payable, answering phones and relaying messages accurately; proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Viewpoint ( or similar accounting/job costing software); data entry; filing; preparing and mailing written correspondence; and preparing a variety of job reports, and human resource documentation. Knowledge of Tribal Employment (TERO) requirements and processes would also be preferable.

A valid driver’s license is required in order to pick up items for project team from area stores and vendors. Must be able to locate in proximity to Corvallis, Oregon. No relocation reimbursement available.
