Channeled Resources Group is looking to add to our family an experienced Cost Accountant Manager to support and assist the Plant Controller along with supervising the Accounting Department in compiling, analyzing, improving, and developing conclusions and actionable plans on all matters relating to our accounting processes and standard cost system. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, analytical, have strong interpersonal and communication skills, organized and detailed oriented, have intermediate technical skills and experiences working with an ERP system in a manufacturing environment. Salary will be based on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and/or improve current cost accounting systems and processes for various divisions and product lines.
• Supervise accounting team with two direct reports and assist in mentorship, training, and development of employees.
• Daily tracking, analysis, and reporting of throughput and wastes, materials and labor variances on production jobs.
• Monthly and yearly physical inventory count.
• Review and analyze purchases, freights, and overhead costs variances on a daily and monthly basis.
• Coordinate activities and share results with various supervisors and managers on a daily basis.
• May assist or be backup to daily cash applications, vendor setup, new customers credit, and audits.

Requirements:

• Minimum Associates degree in accounting or finance with 5+ years of standard costs experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Thorough ERP experiences and intermediate technical skills.
• Minimum 3+ years in a supervisory or management role with direct reports.

• Bachelor degree in accounting or finance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
