Our security company, Community Security Company, is a critical component in providing our tenants with a great place to live and work. Below list outlines the duties for our Security Patrols at our mixed-use TAXI campus, Zeppelin Station office and restaurant building with a parking garage, and the Source complex - a hotel with two retail and restaurant market halls and a parking garage.

Property Checklist

Parking Garages

At least 3xs during your shift:

• Walk/Drive through each parking garage level
• Report to the property manager when:
• Gates are damaged or left in the open position
• If any vehicles appear to be vandalized or abandoned
• Trash in the garage
• You see graffiti that needs to be addressed
• Any items that may need maintenance attention
• Notice unusual activity

Parking at Taxi

• Report to the property manager when:
• Any vehicles appear to be vandalized or abandoned
• Any vehicle tags are expired and/or missing tags
• Any items that may need maintenance attention
• Notice unusual activity

Perimeter of the building

When walking/driving the perimeter of each building:

• Report to the property manager when:
• Irrigation leaks during the Spring and Summer
• Ice melt is needed during the Winter
• Exterior doors are left open/closed depending on your shift and building hours
• Trash enclosure gate is damaged
• If applicable, any signs that may need repair
• Graffiti is present
• Any items that may need maintenance attention
• Notice unusual activity

Building Inspections

At least 1x during your shift you are expected to inspect each building for an estimated time between 30 to 45 minutes.

When walking each building:

• Inspect each item and report to the property manager when:
• Any suite door is left unlocked, but please use your GM key to lock the door
• Fire panel alarm is going off
• Any common area water fountain filter needs replacement (look out for the red light).
• Inspect each restroom for items that may need maintenance and/or janitorial attention. Please announce yourself at least 3xs before entering to the opposite sex restroom.
• Any corridor lighting not working and/or need replacement
• Walk each staircase and look out for any vagrants that may be camping overnight and/or during the day, please ask them to leave and call 9-1-1 to report trespassing private property.
• Ensure that all roof access doors are always locked.
• Graffiti is present
• Any items that may need maintenance attention
• Notice unusual activity

Inspectors should check every door to every building on each shift, not just Source 1, and report immediately if they aren't locked after hours

Swimming Pool

Walk around outside of the pool to ensure no one is camping or trespassing.

Check the locks on the porta potty and upstairs shipping container room, as well as that the mechanical room is locked. Turn off the music and cover the pool to shut it down for the night.

Note if any perimeter lights are out at the pool.

Note if litter is around the site, so janitorial can be notified to pay better attention.

Ready Mix Lot (North of TAXI)

Patrol every shift and look for trespassers or anything out of order.

Compensation

$19/hour to start with a 90-day probation period, which includes on time for arrival for every shift schedule and no call out of a scheduled shift. Guard card is a plus but not required. You must be able to obtain your guard card certification immediately and will be fully reinmbursed your fees after your succesful completion of your 90 probationary period.

• 8 hour shift
• Night shift
• Weekend availability
