Your Position

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is a critical role which works closely with regional sales representatives across the organization to ensure that consumable products and technology solutions are delivered and integrated to a degree of success and satisfaction that assures transactional repeatability and strengthening of long-term customer relationships.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Build strong rapport and familiarity with active customer account contacts and maintain multi-tier roster of viable contacts - new and existing - throughout short tenure and turn-over cycles.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of customer preferences and administrative processes to ensure seamless integration of product and service fulfillment objectives and an incredible service experience / customer journey.
  • Engage with account contacts on a regular basis to monitor, rate and record customer sentiment, respond to service-related questions, share new product ideas and announcements, and identify / uncover incremental sales opportunities.
  • Maintain close visibility on customer account reorder patterns / account action indicators and leverage engagement opportunities to position and drive repeat product sales as a value-added service.
  • Periodically gather customer feedback by initiating informal surveys or feedback loops, and share / report documented results with direct supervisors.
  • Report and escalate product or service issues impacting value realization or threatening customer relationship longevity.
  • Assist territory sales representatives in data mining and cleansing activities aimed at establishing new customer relationships and uncovering new sales opportunities.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and seek opportunity to engage with customers and provide meaningful value along every step of the way.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent minimally required.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent, related work experience preferred.
  • Experience working in professional services or sales team settings highly desired.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk working on a computer and communicating telephonically.
  • Working on-premise in an office setting during normal business hours Mon-Fri 9am-5pm.
