Job Summary: The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is the mediator between the customer, sales personnel, and the production managers. The CSR ensures that every customer order will meet the customer’s specifications in an organized manner by maintaining proper communication with customers, sales, and production managers. A CSR must be able to multitask as well as have good organizational skills. Customer Service Representatives should always look for opportunities to exceed customer expectations by preventing errors.
Physical Requirements:
Must be detail-oriented individual and possess effective verbal & written communication skills. Conflict resolution skills are also required. Must be able to prioritize tasks effectively & meet deadlines as assigned. Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
· Communicate information to customers and sales personnel.
· Qualify new and existing customer inquiries and refer leads to a salesperson for further development.
· Monitor customer jobs throughout the production process.
· Resolve questions and communicate changes or problems to the production office, salesperson and/or customer.
· Check estimates/bids and create a job ticket for production review.
· Maintain customer service by problem solving, gathering information, and transmitting information as needed for the company to deliver quality products.
· Take job specifications in order to generate estimates/bids for customers.
· Knowledge of paper specifications, ink products, and the print process are important.
· Be organized and keep accurate records of customer communications so both the company and the customer are protected if questions arise.
· Coordinate press checks with the production managers and customers.
· Assist salespeople in the proof process and delivering proofs when needed.
· Attend all sales meetings or scheduling meetings.
· Participates in ISO meeting and company goals.
· Perform other duties as assigned/required.

Job Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Two years of customer service experience in the printing industry. Must have excellent organizational and communication skills. Computer knowledge in Excel, Word, Windows NT, and ability to learn new software are required. Must be efficient with ten-key, basic math, and a multi-line telephone system.
