Data Analyst

Location: Salisbury, Maryland (on-site)

Role + Responsibilities

· Handle purchasing of components & finished products

· Manage components & finished goods inventories, minimizing obsolete inventory while achieving the optimum inventory levels.

· Assist with Managing of monthly and year end physical inventory audits of all raw materials, WIP, and finish goods.

· Utilize company ERP system for inventory management and schedule optimization.

· Research and source new suppliers, prepare and release RFQ's, negotiate pricing and prepare purchase orders.

· Assist Proposal Department with customers RFI/ RFP process

· Expedite any urgent purchase requisitions when mission essential items are needed immediately.

· Identify critical long-lead items

· Create and maintain robust relationships with vendors, including timely and appropriate resolution of issues.

· Develop and maintain strategic alliances with vendors/suppliers

· When needed, work closely with suppliers and A/P team on resolution action items

· Assist Planning Department with scheduling and management of manufacturing orders while ensuring constant and lean supply of components for production.

· Update current pricing of components / raw materials in the INFOR (ERP) system

· Track components inventories to ensure smooth production to meet customers shipping deadlines

Qualifications

· Previous working experience in Data Analysis and/or Supply Chain function

· Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

· Effective negotiation and vendor management skills

· Proactive problem solver
