About us:

Fort Collins Wholesale Nursery is a supplier of hardy landscape plants serving the green industry in Colorado, southern Wyoming and western Nebraska. Fort Collins Wholesale Nursery has a unique position in the wholesale nursery market in this region. We are both a grower and distributor, and we service nurseries, garden centers, growers, landscape contractors, urban forestry professionals, and public institutions.

Position overview:

Delivery drivers for Fort Collins Wholesale Nursery make business to business deliveries to landscapers, nurseries and garden centers. Delivery drivers work independently while on the road, and are a crucial customer service link between us and our customers. Positions begin early March and continue through mid-late November.

Details of the position:

• Work hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm (some deliveries may require an earlier start time), Monday - Friday (no weekends). Full time, with some overtime possible.
• All deliveries are same day - no overnight.
• Equipment is 26' straight trucks (box and flatbed) and 1 ton truck.
• Delivery drivers will assist in unloading of plants at customer's location and communicate with customers.
• Drivers will do some order assembly, truck loading, and other labor tasks on nursery when not driving.
• Delivery range is local/regional - we make local deliveries, weekly trips to southern WY, as well as to the Denver metro area and Colorado Springs.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license
• A clean MVR and safe, courteous driving habits
• CDL is not required
• 21 years +
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs needed
• Be able to work in a variety of weather conditions
• 26' straight truck driving experience helpful, but can train safe candidates
• Be able to work well in a team environment
• High school diploma or equivalent

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
