Job Overview: As Digital Marketing Manager, the individual contributor's role is that of an experienced marketer & analyst with exceptional client services skills. The individual in this role will have oversight of the Digital Strategist, Sr. Copywriter, and a stable of contractors, providing the opportunity to shape projects while helping to build and define organizational brands. In addition, this role aids the company in the development and realization of new market opportunities with fresh and effective promotional materials, campaigns and brand synergy. This individual champions strong data-driven analysis to provide positive outcomes using market analysis and strategic marketing based on their research.

Essential Expectations:

  • Manage team members and contractors who assist in data analysis, search engine marketing, search engine optimization, social media management, copywriting, and marketing research.
  • Plan marketing campaigns including social media campaigns, analyze metrics, and identify trends to further client’s brands.
  • Facilitate the acquisition, cleaning, and analysis of data that uses statistically-sound techniques. Must be able to interpret findings in order to present reports and provide recommendations.
  • Conduct detailed research with a strong attention to detail. Provide analysis and recommendations that help shape brand narrative, target audience and brand positioning, ensuring brand consistency through all marketing channels.
  • Develop business cases to support new marketing strategies, budget requests, projects and marketing plans.
  • Support the development, implementation, and optimization of new and existing marketing strategies, in collaboration with the marketing team, internal departments, stakeholders, and vendors.
  • Track and measure marketing outcomes including marketing activities, response, growth, retention and ROI.
  • Continuously monitor the marketplace and offer strategic thought to stakeholders of evolving trends, relevant news and findings.
  • Meet with stakeholders, clients, and team members to facilitate projects. Work to benchmark budget expenditures against project projections.
  • Propose new projects, working alongside stakeholders to develop and clarify business requirements.
  • Have the ability to work with tight deadlines, ability to be fluid with tasks and scheduling with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Work well in a highly collaborative environment, including an exceptional ability to listen and effectively respond respectfully to stakeholder feedback with openness, confidence and strong communication skills.

  • Social Media Skills: Must have an understanding and desire to contribute to creating content for emerging social mediums such as LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.
  • Problem Solving Skills: Must display the ability to find creative solutions to complex problems, even when finding a solution seems impossible.
  • Critical Thinking Skills: Must display strong critical thinking, organizational, and analytical capabilities when interacting with clients, managers, peers and stakeholders.
  • Communication Skills: Must be able to attentively listen to accurately gather facts and figures from clients, stakeholders, managers, and peers. Must have the ability to accurately communicate their findings clearly in written reports.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail for organized and accurate application of research and knowledge.
  • Business Acumen: Must understand the basic functions of a business in order to accurately analyze and interpret client requests.
  • Computer Literacy: Need to be able to use all basic computer functions and possess the ability and aptitude to learn new ones quickly.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • At least (1) year of Project Management experience required.
  • At least (3) years of Marketing experience required including proven ability to develop marketing strategies.
  • At least (2) years of experience with data visualization and dashboard creation and presenting analysis to stakeholders.
  • SEO and/or SEM experience.
  • Proven ability to manage long-term projects and solve complex problems.
  • Proven ability to manage a team.
  • Proven ability to create & manage social media campaigns.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience cleaning and analyzing data.
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as R, Python, SQL.

Compensation | $60,000 - $70,000

Physical Requirements:

Work is to be conducted primarily in office and occasionally at client locations, however some work may be conducted remotely via technology. This position requires work during the regular work week. This position will require some lifting (up to 20 lbs.) and long hours at a computer using a keyboard and mouse in addition to prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.
