Job Description :

Full-time salaried as well as Full and Part-time temporary positions available!

Weekday temporary pay is $13.00/hr plus shift differentials

Weekend Warrior temporary pay is $19.50/hr plus shift differentials

Whitten Center, located in Clinton, SC is a residential facility of the SC Department of Disabilities and Special Needs. The center serves residents of all ages with developmental disabilities. This position, under direct supervision, provides training and assistance for persons with developmental disabilities.

  • Provides active treatment for people with disabilities to increase their functional independence.
  • Develops and maintains a small home-like environment for persons within assigned residence.
  • Monitors and escorts persons to programs, appointments and off-campus trips.
  • Performs and participates in quality and developmental activities as assigned. This position requires feeding, changing diapers, bathing, dressing, etc.
