We are seeking a motivated individual for the Director of Engineering Technologies role, which oversees the operation and administration of the following corporate functions: Engineering Department, cost estimating, project engineering and program management, as well as the operation of the tool and fixture build shop.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee, manage and provide support to the Corporate Project Engineering team.
• Oversee Engineering Department team development and training.
• Provide technical support to the Sales Department.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key customer contacts.
• Support program and project management using standard techniques.
• Oversee, manage and provide support to the Tool and Automation Center

• Oversee Engineering Department team development and training.
• Manage the tool and automation estimating functions and process to provide accurate and timely estimates.
• Responsible for departmental budget and direct report performance reviews.
• Oversee Engineering Department team development and training.
• Manage the Corporate estimating system and Estimating Department to provide accurate, timely estimates.
• Responsible for continued reductions in manufacturing cost through new technology, new techniques and process improvements
• Monitor tooling and automation programs and progress to plan.
• Manage and execute capital projects.
• Oversee the implementation of engineering initiatives.
• Plant Equipment and infrastructure upgrades.
• Facilitate and communicate the corporate cost reduction program as related to Engineering.
• Plant standardization for procedures, regulatory compliance, and documentation.

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Plastics Technology; an advanced degree preferred
• 5-7 years in engineering management
• 5 years of experience in plastics molding manufacturing operations strongly preferred
• Strong program management skills and experience with a disciplined approach
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization
