ENSCO, Inc. Mission Systems Group (MSG) has an immediate opportunity for a USMC - Subject Matter Expert - Acquisition Analyst that will provide Headquarters Marine Corps, Aviation support for the F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO), in Arlington, VA. The position will support the JPO USMC Service Lead and HQMC, AVN in their interactions with appropriate members of the JPO Enterprise as required.
This analyst will provide support in the areas of financial, technical, and/or business case analysis to ensure situational awareness relating to program risk or probability of success and provide input to HQMC, AVN on the F-35 program progress on execution of Marine Corps requirements in the areas of resourcing, development, fielding and sustainment of the F-35B and F-35C.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Provide in-depth analysis on strategic planning of all aspects of Marine Corps requirements, resourcing, fielding and sustainment of F-35B and F-35C.
• Assist in the development, delivery, monitoring, and verification of completion of tasks from the HQMC, AVN Team to internal and external organizations.
• Assist with communication to and from the HQMC, AVN Team.
• Apply knowledge of the defense acquisition process in the analysis and improvement of acquisition process policy and procedures to devise strategies for deploying and implementing new acquisition policy initiatives and measuring the effectiveness of implementation.

Qualifications Required (Skills)

• 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
• Working knowledge of DoD Instruction 5000.2 - Operation of the Defense Acquisition System.
• Demonstrated experience with HQMC staff or JPO staff.
• Demonstrated experience w/the DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting, & Execution (PPBE) process.
• AN ACTIVE DOD SECRET (S) CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION FOR WHICH YOU MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN
• No remote work. Telework is not offered.
• TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Infrequent CONUS travel (Average one or less trip per month) to various government and contractor facilities outside of National Capital Region.
