Field Sales Representative

We are looking for an established, competitive field sales representative to develop existing clients as well as attract new clients in the north Alabama area. The successful candidate will have building products sales experience. The successful salesperson will source new sales opportunities in the building products industry and close sales to achieve quotas. The successful candidate will play a key role in increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects and managing sales of products and services. As an field/outside sales representative, or sales agent, they will research competition. Field sales personnel will interact with their office based sales team daily.

Responsibilities

· Generate and follow up on leads

· Close sales

· Forecast customer needs

· Build trust and rapport with customers

· Research prospects

· Positive company representation

· Daily travel to customer locations

· Work in office as needed

· Proven sales experience

· Track record of over-achieving quota

· Competency with different types of sales techniques

· Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills

· Self motivated and driven

· Competency with computers

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
