Full-Stack Developer

American Cruise Lines, the largest cruise line in the United States, has an immediate opening for a Full-Stack Developer based in its Guilford, CT corporate office.

Full-Stack Developer Duties and Responsibilities

• Modifying and testing changes to previously developed programs
• Testing and providing feedback to management during the development process
• Maintaining and upgrading the software following deployment
• Managing the end-to-end life cycle for the production of software and applications
• Working toward participating in the complete software development process from conception to deployment
• Writing, building, and deployment of software

Full-Stack Developer Skills and Qualifications

• Front-end technology: Expertise in front-end technologies, including JavaScript, CSS3 and HTML5 and third-party libraries including Angular or AngularJS and jQuery
• Development languages: Knowledge of server-side programming languages including c# and .Net
• Database and cache: Familiarity with DBMS technology, including SQLServer
• Basic design ability: Including knowledge of UI/UX and basic prototype design
• Server: Experience working with Windows IIS and Apache servers
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Ability to understand a component of a proposed system and be able to build it with guidance

Educational/Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or another related technical field
• Or associate’s degree with 3-5 years of work experience
• 2-5 years of experience
