Exciting Fast Casual Brand Seeks GENERAL MANAGER / OPERATOR with Ownership Opportunity!

We are looking for the right person to join our ownership team, drive profitability and great service at our original location, and create a culture of growth for both the brand and our team members.

Summary

The General Manager/Operator leads the operation of the restaurant and will have the opportunity to earn an ownership stake in the business. The Owner/Operator has the overall responsibility for directing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas of operation, including product preparation and delivery, guest relations, restaurant maintenance and repair, inventory management, team culture and management, recruiting, hiring, termination and retention of team members, financial accountability, and ensuring that the highest quality products and services are delivered to each guest.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Controls day-to-day operations by scheduling team members, ordering, and training/developing our restaurant team members.

· Controls profit & loss, by following cash control/security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor, reviewing financial reports, and taking appropriate actions.

· Recruits, interviews, hires and manages team members and conducts performance appraisals.

· Ensures that the Occupational Safety and Health Act, local health and safety codes, as well as the company safety and security policies, are being adhered to.

· Ensures that the restaurant is in compliance with the preventative maintenance program with regards to facility, equipment, and grounds maintenance.

· Ensures a safe, working and best quality customer experience environment by facilitating safe work behaviors of the team.

· Maintains fast, accurate service, positive guest relations, and ensures products are consistent with company quality standards.

· Ensures food quality and meets customer satisfaction goals.

Qualifications & Requirements

· 2 – 4 years of supervisory experience in a food service or retail environment is required; Fast casual management experience is preferred and a bonus.

· Proven track record of leadership and managerial skills while providing exceptional customer service is required.

· Understanding of restaurant software, systems and processes is required.

· Understanding of restaurant P&L and key levers to improve profitability is required.

· This position requires management and administrative responsibilities and in-store shift responsibilities.

· This position requires strong problem solving and decision-making skills, and the ability to be flexible and adapt in any situation.

· This position will require long periods of standing on hard surfaces, occasionally in warm temperatures. There is also likely to be extensive lifting of supplies and materials and moderate to loud noise. The use of hands and arms to reach for, grasp and manipulate objects will be necessary. There will be also be constant exposure to hot equipment and oil throughout the work day.

Compensation

· Competitive salary ($69,500 - $79,500 depending on experience)

· Opportunity to earn 10% ownership stake
