JOB SUMMARY:

As a General Manager, you will have the challenging role of directing a team with a common goal of providing the highest level of customer satisfaction and delivering goods to clients on time.

Job Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and oversee the work of staff members to ensure efficiency and compliance with organizational requirements and company procedures.
• Monitor and direct all dispatching activities, including planning, tracking, routing and dispatching OTR equipment.
• Responsible for Hiring Drivers
• Maintaining & Tracking Asset
• Direct work activities designed to promote work safety and encourage continuing education among staff members.
• Ensure staff members fully and consistently comply with safety rules, administrative procedures and policies and government regulations.

• Build and maintain culture for proactive safety focused, productive, efficient, low-attrition workforce.

• Produce high levels of service, including on-time pickup and delivery and claims free environment.

• Produce high levels of productivity and optimal levels of labor spend.

Job Skills & Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum of ten years’ experience in TL Operations or comparable leadership role.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Effective organizational and multitasking skills
• Career oriented and plans for succession at all levels rather than job oriented.
• Capacity to notice details but manage overall view.
• Aptitude to problem solve and utilize troubleshooting skills.
• Independent thinker with the ability to engage team members.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
