Overview:
We are actively looking for a Graphic Design Intern to join our Cerative Services Marketing team at our General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems headquarters in St. Petersburg, FL. This is an in-person internship. Relocation benefits are not offered.
Major Position Responsibilities:
  • Create and design print and digital materials.
  • Adhere to brand guidelines and complete projects according to deadline.
  • Retouch and manipulate images.
  • Utilizing the Adobe Creative Suite software while working with a wide variety of media.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Director and Graphic Design Supervisor to develop design concepts.
  • Receive feedback from the Creative Director and Graphic Design Supervisor, making any necessary changes.
  • Assembling PowerPoint presentations for print production.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled or recently accepted in a 2-4 year college program or have graduated in the last 6 months.
  • Graphic Design major preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of layouts, typography, line composition, color, and other graphic design fundamentals.
  • Experience with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Knowledge of PowerPoint Software is a plus.
  • Strong creative and analytical skills.
  • Portfolio of graphic design work.
