The Golden Bear Motel is under new ownership and has been undergoing renovations!

• Must have the ability to communicate well with guests, co-workers, and managers
• Extremely Reliable
• Experience helpful but not necessary
• Solid references

Job Summary

• Clean and maintain the guest room areas, including bathroom and bedroom, according to company standards
• Clean and maintain common areas of the hotel
• Organize and stock cleaning cart, and organize linen closets as assigned
• Report to Head Housekeeper and/or hotel management, all rooms that are vacant and clean, rooms that are occupied and have been cleaned
• Report any damages or repairs needed to management. Report all deficiencies in operation of heating and cooling systems, furniture and fixtures, etc
• Report all lost and found items to the Housekeeping Manager

Responsibilities

• Must replace dirty linens
• Replenish guest amenities and supplies in rooms in proper quantity and locations- bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, bath mat, toilet paper, shampoo, hand soap, etc
• Clean bathrooms, mirrors and remove trash
• Make beds according to company standards
• Dust and clean all surfaces, arrange furniture properly, and vacuum carpet
• Perform laundry duties to be made ready for next day
• Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance

• High work ethic and self-initiative
• Required to work varying schedules to include weekends and holidays
• Someone who enjoys working as, and being part of a team that provides great experiences for our guests!

Job Starting Date

• April 2023

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
