Position Overview
As a Software Engineer Intern on the AutoCAD Desktop team, you’ll work closely with our engineers to solve challenges in AutoCAD engineering like development knowledge sharing and searching with AI. You’ll also help develop search and reporting frontend for the security vulnerabilities of AutoCAD.
AutoCAD® is computer-aided design (CAD) software that architects, engineers, and construction professionals rely on to create precise 2D and 3D drawings. This globally leading product is currently used by millions to design objects from electrical panels to construction floor plans.

Responsibilities
  • Design and build the search tool by using the AutoCAD development knowledge sources
  • Research the latest AI to support in-depth search on AutoCAD development knowledge
  • Work closely with feature teams to ensure engineering documentation meets specifications and requirements for search

Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be currently enrolled in a full-time, degree seeking program with a focus in Computer Science or other related fields
  • Strong attention to detail and communications in a hybrid/remote work environment
  • Knowledge of source control systems, especially Git and GitHub
  • Prior experience with research
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with object-oriented programming languages such as C++/C#
  • Familiarity with AI technologies such as Machine learning, deep learning and natural language processing
  • Knowledge AutoCAD or other CAD Software
About the US Intern Program
The 2023 U.S. program runs for 12 weeks (May 22 – August 11 or June 12 – September 1). All internships are paid. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects, be mentored by industry leaders, work alongside peers from universities all over the country and participate in tech talks and other activities designed to support your personal and professional development. US recruiting begins in the Fall and concludes end of March.
