Funded by a US Dept of Education grant, the Lancaster Promise Neighborhood Office Coordinator duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, being responsible for database management, assistance with communications and budgeting, website management, and will provide overall support for the Program Director to meet project goals and objectives as well as assistance with the following:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide direct administrative support to Program Director
• Manage Program Director calendar and phone line
• Prepare memorandums and reports
• Create and edit informational documents and presentations
• Perform general clerical duties, including but not limited to: photocopying, scanning, mailing, and filing
• Organize and maintain files, both hard copy and electronic, and creating new paper and electronic filing systems to better manage files as needed
• Maintain inventory of office supplies
• Process and monitor expense requests for submission to Partners for Youth
• Schedule meetings, including contacting and considering multiple calendars, securing and setting up meeting space
• Oversee bi-weekly and monthly meetings
• Support program staff in assigned project-based work
• Assist with special events
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

· Self-motivated, collaborative, and outcome driven professional.

· Skills in active listening.

· Excellent oral and written skills.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

· Willingness to travel and work evenings or weekends.

· Knowledge and familiarity of the community, comfort in working in various neighborhood settings with diverse populations

· Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

· Commitment to the goals, values and approach of Promise Neighborhood.

· Willingness to travel and work evenings.

· Strong attention to details and deadlines is imperative, capacity to multitask.

· Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

· At least two years’ experience working in similar position

OTHER REQUISITES

From time to time the incumbent may be assigned special duties by a superior or, on a temporary basis, may be asked to assist other employees occupying a different position. Overtime work will be required on occasion.
