Job Description :

Are you POSITIVE? Are you warm and caring? Are you a CREATIVE problem solver?

Working with children is a CALLING and you know if you've been CALLED. It's the tickle in your gut when you see a toddler experience ice cream for the first time, the swell in your chest when you see a preschooler's surprise as they tie their own shoes, the unavoidable giggles that escape when a four year old pats your big belly and asks if your babies are in there (hahahaha), the smiles that flow when you are swarmed by two year olds wanting to give your legs a hug. YOU know those feelings. They are AWESOME!

Our Teachers bring warmth, patience, and understanding to the classroom every day, encouraging children to learn and grow. They know that creating meaningful relationships with children, families, and their team play a crucial role in that success.

As a member of our teaching staff, you will:

  • 401(k) savings and investment plan with employer match
  • PAID trainings and competitive wages! (We VALUE you!)

Required Skills and Experience:

  • CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
  • Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential (or willing to obtain)
  • 1 year professional experience working with children (preferred – but we will also train if you don’t have experience)
  • Lift a minimum of 40 pounds to your waist regularly, and work indoors or outdoors (often on the floor)
  • Have survival skills to spend a day of work without your phone (bonus: mental health benefits of 8 hours off social media)
  • Ability to sit on a circle time rug for extended periods and interact fully with the children keeping them safe, and engaged
  • Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English (Bonus if you speak Baby Babble and Toddler Trivia - what did he say?)
