Description: We are looking for a Machine Learning (ML) Engineer to help us create and deploy models at scale.

Responsibilities

• Study and transform data science prototypes to transform them into production-ready models.
• Run machine learning model checks using the appropriate validation datasets as supplied by the DS team.
• Perform run-time analysis (dependencies, memory leaks) using validation data for production models during integration.
• Actively engage with data scientists to extend existing ML libraries and frameworks for rapid experimentation, reusability, and reliability
• Keep abreast of developments in the field.

Requirements and skills:

• Strong foundation in Python and Linux
• Experience on AWS systems are a plus (EC2, EMR, Fargate, S3 preferred)
• Good understanding of various ML libraries (pyspark, pandas, scikit-learn, pytorch) and deployment/integration requirements to get a model into production.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong emphasis on documentation.
• Proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role
• Understanding of data structures, data modeling and software architecture
• Ability to write production ready code in Python, Java (Legacy model support)
• BSc in Computer Science, Mathematics or similar field or equivalent work experience
