We need a hands-on leader to aide our team of engineers provisioning and supporting cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for the US business unit

- Lead the development of our CI/CD practice standards and technical innovation.
- Maintain a culture of continual service improvement, innovation, and automation. Members of the team must be able to trust and support one another.
- Work with the project teams to comprehend the existing state of the cloud infrastructure and services and to direct adjustments as needed.
- Work together with architects to develop new technologies, researching, analyzing, and testing potential solutions while bringing extensive technical expertise in IaC and CI/CD procedures.
- Make that the pipelines, tools, and processes used for product releases are efficient and effective in supporting the quick integration and delivery of applications.
design, construction, and management of infrastructural elements for US application portfolio.
- To assure a consistent computing state, implement or enhance cloud infrastructure management.
- Own and prioritize the product backlog for your team; managing your team to ensure effective delivery is in-line with your commitments to stakeholders
- Conduct Product Team Meetings, and attend external Sprint Planning sessions as required
- Participate in recruitment, performance assessment, training and career development. Responsible for all headcount planning and personnel evolution
- Communicate effectively and build relationships with multiple teams across the global organization
- Contribute in the Central Cloud Practices community to maintain collaboration and best practices across the global organization
- Deep understanding of IaC and CI/CD workflows
- Demonstrable experience with diverse assortment of frameworks, languages, and products. Specific examples include:
Bamboo, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD software; Docker and Kubernetes ;Bitbucket and Git ; OS administration (Windows and Linux)
- Considered perspective in operating an enterprise effectively in a public cloud including security, governance, networking, and application development concerns
- 10+ years of professional technical experience
- 7+ years of experience focused on IaC, software development, and operations
- 5+ years in cloud management/leadership
- 5+ years of experience with Terraform and Puppet
- Experience in financial, insurance, or other regulated industries
- Experience with business-critical applications and large-scale customer facing websites
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or related area, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Graduate degree and relevant certifications (Azure/AWS) are preferred
