Job Description :

GENERAL SUMMARY: Develop and execute marketing and communications plans for physician audience. Define strategy and key messaging. Write and edit content for website, email communications and newsletters. Establish and maintain relationships with leaders and physicians. Provide support to BMG and independent physicians as needed.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Develop, execute and monitor marketing and communication strategies and tactics within scope of responsibility.
  • Develop marketing and communications plans to reach physicians (BMG and independent) to achieve growth. Define strategy, craft key messages, outline appropriate tactical approaches and define measures of success through defined metrics.
  • Collaborate with creative services, digital and marketing team members to manage marketing requests. Discuss concept development, provide writing and editing support and consult with clients as needed.
  • Coordinate tactical elements within marketing plans that are essential to the plan’s success, including strategy and prioritization for pay-per-click advertising and content strategy for search engine optimization.
  • Create articles, stories and features for key service lines, departments and Beaumont Health programs to be used for digital platforms, collateral materials and newsletters.
  • Coordinate physician events.
  • Write content for hospital and program-specific newsletters and standalone email communications.
  • Implement and measure tactics used in physician alignment and engagement strategies.
  • Maintain provider website.

STANDARD QUALIFICATIONS


  • Bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing, journalism or related field.
  • 3-5 years’ experience writing, communications, public relations or marketing experience required; prior experience in physician communications or marketing preferred.

Other Qualifications:

  • Experience with project management software preferred.
  • Demonstrated publication writing and editing skills.
  • Knowledge of computer systems including MS Office, desktop publishing and web/CMS.
  • Ability to work with staff at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent organizational skills and event-planning experience.
  • Must have a high level of creativity, initiative and self-direction.
  • Must have great attention to detail with high standards of quality and strategic focus.
