Key responsibilities for this position, include:
Medical Assistant (Certified preferred)

  • Assisting healthcare providers
  • Maintaining electronic health records (EHR) and coordinating patient activities.
  • Collecting specimens for laboratory testing, administering medications and immunizations and conducting patient intake and exit interviews.
  • Using data and patient registries to outreach to patients in need of preventive care and follow-up for chronic conditions.
  • Assisting with patient referrals, tracking and follow-up.
  • As appropriate, triaging phone calls and following up on patient requests.

Requirements:Requirements include at least one (1) year of Medical Assistant experience and completion of Medical Assistant certification; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Vital signs: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

  • BLS Certification (Preferred)
  • Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
