Metal Fabrication Sales Associate

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Richmond Manufacturer looking for energetic self-starters to join our sales team - all sales activity functions are based in Richmond, VA. This position will include sales of our Power Products (Uninterruptible Power Supplies, Frequency Converters, Power conditioners), Our Tactical Shelters (SCiFs, Modular Data Centers, Portable Power Distribution) as well as sales of other PS&C Manufacturing Capabilities. Technical knowledge would be a benefit for this position, but not a requirement as our Engineering group supports the sales effort.

Formed in 1965, PS&C has always been based in the Richmond, VA area. We design, manufacture and service our customers worldwide. On the power side, we specialize in Frequency Conversion, Uninterruptible Power Supplies, Voltage Regulation, Power Conditioning, Electrical Isolation, Inverters, and Power Factor Correction utilizing both static and rotary topology. On the Enclosure side of the business, we specialize in Modular Office space, data centers, power centers, power distribution, operations centers, RF enclosures, FEBRs, and HEMP structures. Our company is Employee Owned and looking for Associates with long-term expectations.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be a U.S. citizen
• BA or BS degree preferred
• Entry Level Positions available
• Experienced Level (3 to 5 years) Positions available
• Proposal writing experience
• Well spoken & some pricing knowledge is a plus
• Someone seeking a career, not just a job
• Must be creative, have perseverance and overcome obstacles in order to get the job done

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Research potential customers (for new business opportunities)
• Contact customers
• Prepare costing and proposals
• Process purchase orders thru the business office
• Complete sales documentation for all sold jobs
• Work with Engineering throughout proposal phase
• Assist Project Managers from sale to shipment
• Follow-up with customers
