This position is a part-time mobile crisis response team member, to respond to mental health crisis in person during defined shifts in the evening and on weekends in Washington and/or Randolph Counties. This position requires an in person response within 90 minutes.

Position Overview: Be available by phone to receive crisis referrals before responding in person. Receive information and determine the best intervention for each individual and situation. Provide brief supportive counseling. Provide mental health crisis assessment to individual. Assist client in crisis with referrals and resource information in order to explore least restrictive environment to restore balance. Link individuals who have received crisis intervention services with follow-up services.

Minimum Qualifications:

BA/BS in Social Service field accepted, Masters preferred.

Understanding of DSM5 diagnoses.

The ability to remain calm during stressful situations, display appropriate levels of maturity, good judgment and strong documentation skills.
