Qualifications

• Occupational Therapy License recognized by the State of Michigan
• Valid Driver's License
• Reliable Transportation with Valid Auto Insurance
• 1 year experience working as an Occupational Therapist
• Candidates must also be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship--no contracts please.
• Home Care Home Base Helpful
• Occupational Therapist License Required

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled occupational therapy in accordance with the physician's plan of care
• Assists the physician in the evaluation and assessment of the client's level of functioning by applying diagnostic and prognostic procedures and tests and assists in the development and revision of the plan of care
• Treats the client with the use of therapeutic activities designed to restore function and self-care activities for the purpose of improving function.
• Demonstrates and teaches alternate techniques to complete activities of daily living, proper transfers, and positioning.
• Teaches, supervises, and counsels the client and family regarding home rehabilitation procedures and other care needs as appropriate to the client's condition.
