Office Admin/Payroll Assistant (Full-time)

Advantage Building Solutions, a mid-sized construction company, is looking for a full-time Office Admin/Payroll Assistant motivated to assist in office admin support. We are a fast-paced company looking for a driven individual to join our company.

Required Duties / Daily / Weekly Tasks (Include but not limited to, and often shared with other staff members):

o Maintain office supplies, and order when necessary
o Answer and screen phone calls.
o Scanning/Faxing/Copying
o Organizing mail and deliveries; run errands, answer phones

o Filing
o DMV visits

o Maintain vehicle/insurance file folders
o Organize and monitor hotel stays for field staff
o Bookkeeping and data entry of a/p invoices

o Assist with day-to-day HR operations

o Maintaining digital and electronic records of employees

o Assist in payroll processing

o Compiling reports and spreadsheets

o Assist in overseeing benefit enrollment process of Company health insurance & 401(k) plans

o Data entry and processing accounts payable

o Prepare new employee packets

o Answer payroll questions

Qualifications:

Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities as to use time efficiently

Must be organized

Must be dependable, able to follow instructions and must be able to improve performance through management feedback.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

1 Year of Office Admin experience OR Associate’s Degree Required
Time management skills; ability to multi-task
Attention to accuracy and detail
High School Diploma or equivalent
Excellent written and verbal communication, Spanish bi-lingual (verbal, read, and write) preferred
Ability to lift 20 lbs. comfortably
Valid CA License

Compensation: $17-$20/hr DOE

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
