1. Responsible for the overall productivity and adherence to schedule of the manufacturing plant.

2. Determines production rate goals for each product.

3. Performs post production analysis to determine steps that could improve the next run.

4. Assists as needed during production runs to maximize uptime.

5. Works with Production Leaders to drive improvement in productivity and schedule adherence.

6. Verifies that paperwork in the plant is appropriate and properly filled out by auditing rooms during production runs. Work with Quality Manager to correct issues.

7. Verifies that training is up to date through communication with the Quality Manager, Production Leaders and Trainers.

8. Verifies that employees are following procedures through audits / observations and communication with the Quality Manager.

9. Verifies that quality checks are being done and that product quality is acceptable.

10. Responsible for administering the employee disciplinary action system to ensure that all actions are legal and consistent.

11. Responsible for HR functions: payroll, hiring / firing, vacation administration, and benefits.

12. Backup in maintaining time & attendance for hourly staff.

13. Responsible for the company engineering functions including new projects and upgrades.

14. Develops / improves the processes for manufacturing products.

15. Communicates with customers on technical details.

16. Works with Maintenance Manager to ensure that spare parts are available and that PM programs are up to date.

17. Works with the Quality Manager to investigate customer complaints and drives the CAPA process in manufacturing.

18. Revises procedures as needed.

19. Emphasizes safety and spearheads safety meetings / initiatives.

20. Performs formal / documented yearly review with all hourly and salaried direct reports.

Pay: $59,212.00 - $66,796.00 per year
