he Hy-Vee Distribution Center in CHARITON, IOWA is hiring for 1st shift (7am or 9am - flexible end time) and 2nd shift (6pm - flexible end time) Part-Time Order Selectors. This role pays $16 Mon-Thurs and $18 Fri-Sun. We offer flexible schedules that accommodate school and / or other jobs.

Requirements:
  • Must be able to work at least Saturday OR Sunday consistently (both are not mandatory)
  • Must be able to work in an extremely fast-paced and physically demanding position that requires working on your feet for 8 to 10 hours on concrete, lifting 50 lbs. frequently and up to 75 lbs. occasionally.
  • For freezer positions, you must be able to work in an environment that is -10 degrees Fahrenheit.

Duties:
  • Responsible for utilizing a headset and electric pallet jack to select products from the warehouse floor in a timely manner
  • Responsible for building pallets of the ordered product in an efficient manner.
