Shift: Daytime, Nights, Weekends. (Most shifts offer 4:30/5:30p start times, running 6-8 hours in length. Applicants should be open to all schedules.).

We are currently looking for customer-focused Armed Security Guards to support our growing need at sports and entertainment venues in Minneapolis.

About the job:

• Excellent customer service is always your top priority.
• You provide a safe and secure environment for guests, team officials, players, and other individuals associated with the event.
• You observe, survey the area and provide reporting on activity at your assigned location.
• You provide rapid response in critical situations.
• You’re good with reading and writing detailed reports.
• You know when and how to enforce customer procedures, regulations and standards.

Your background:

• Must be able to provide your own gun (BEST will provide ammunition, taser, and utility belt).
• Must be currently licensed to carry a firearm in the state of Minnesota.
• Must be able to pass the qualification process for an armed security officer, set by the Minnesota Board of Private Detectives and Protective Agents.
• Must be willing to work daytime, nights, and weekend schedules (with an exception for religious accommodations).
• Ability to pass an extensive screening process.
• Consent to background check and drug screen.
• You can stand for extended periods, sometimes throughout an entire event (notify us of reasonable accommodations) and you are comfortable working outside in all weather conditions.

Parking Directions: Park in Maroon Parking lot and enter at Jackson County Entrance directly on other side of stadium (entrance names are clearly marked on the exterior of the building and are alphabetically listed). Parking is $5.00.

Entrance Room Details: Enter Jackson County entrance (other side of stadium from Maroon Lot) and alert the Security Officer you're there for a BEST Crowd Management interview. They can escort you if required. Otherwise, signage will welcome and point you to the BEST office.
