Position Title: Warehouse Technician (Part Time)

Job Summary:

Performs work required at the on-site warehouse facility, including issuing, and receiving material, stocking, maintaining warehouse and storage yards, and other work as required. Pay: $17-18 per hour

Hours: 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (Monday – Friday)

Duties:

• Maintains adequate levels of inventory for resale, repairs, and special orders.
• Order, receive, and maintain janitorial/break room and shop supplies. Interacts with vendors for pricing and availability information as well as submits orders to vendors.
• Physically receive materials, products, merchandise, and parts in the warehouse. Check material against vendors’ invoices, bills of lading, customer order, and other documents. Store items in bins, on the floor, or on shelves in designated locations for retrieval when needed. Mark or tag items as necessary for identification purposes.
• Receive and maintain inventory in a computerized management system.
• Pull inventory and stage or ship for service technicians and customer orders.
• Loads and unloads material within a warehouse or storage facility. Use hand trucks, forklifts, or other handling equipment to move material to and from trucks and the storage facility.
• Assists in coordinating periodic physical inventory counts.
• Assists in answering incoming phone calls as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required:

• Two to Three years of warehouse/inventory experience
• Must be able to safely operate various machinery including, but not limited to, forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Experience with computerized inventory management systems
• Basic knowledge of shipping/receiving
• Ability to build relationships and work well across functions.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license
• Must have exceptional organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of Windows operating system
• Working knowledge of Microsoft office, specifically Excel

Qualifications Preferred:

• Knowledge of typical mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation components
• MSHA certification

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
