Opportunity available for Board Certified (or eligible) Physician Assistant to become part of our Immediate Care provider team.

Two or more year's experience in an urgent care or emergency room "fast track" setting combined with a proven record of clinical excellence and solid patient relationship skills. New graduates with clinical training in ED or Urgent care will be considered in lieu of experience.

Position offers the opportunity to diagnose, treat, prescribe, and refer patients for follow-up treatment as needed in this urgent care environment.

Schedule is 3/12 hour shifts/per week with two schedule options:

1) Serves as a member of our Rome Immediate Care team working 3/12 hour shifts in the Rome Immediate Care to included an every other weekend rotation with one weekend to be scheduled in Cartersville (approx. every 5th).

2) Serves as sole provider in our Cartersville Immediate Care every Saturday/Sunday. Work in Rome Immediate Care on Fridays (Week 1) and another weekday or Friday (Week 2) to complete full schedule.

Immediate Care opens at 8:30 am and sign in for patient appointments closes at 8:00 pm daily. Shifts end when last patient has been seen.

Clinic is open all holidays except Thanksgiving and Christmas day and staff rotate holidays as part of their required schedule.

Working within an Electronic Medical Record environment provides ease of access to patient health history and optimize the provider’s ability to deliver quality care to our patients.

Ability to effectively build and manage relationships with our patient community is critical to the success of our practice. Must be able to work independently within the scope of practice guidelines and appropriately direct patients for follow-up care as their healthcare needs dictate.
