Responsibilities:
  • Provides comprehensive Neurosurgery-related healthcare under the supervision of a Neurosurgeon.
  • With physician oversight, the PA provides assessment, evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for neurosurgery patients, to include outpatient office care, a "surgical assist" role, and hospital rounding.
  • Evaluates patient and obtains pertinent information for the diagnosis and treatment of the medical problem.
  • Documents applicable information and completes paperwork.
  • Fosters the learning and development of staff to fulfill the current and future requirements of individuals and the organization.

Qualifications:
Education
  • Physician Assistant Degree
Experience
  • One to two years experience strongly preferred with emphasis in surgical setting.
(Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience)

Licensure/Certification
  • Current Oklahoma PA-C License or Board Eligible
Compensation/Benefits
  • $48.20-$78.73/hr depending on previous work experience.
