GAOWA Montessori is a new school and we are expanding quickly. We are currently looking to add an assistant teacher to one of our Primary classes.

The assistant teacher will work cohesively with the Lead Teacher to establish and maintain a harmonious classroom.

Responsibilities

• Assume certain teaching responsibilities (storytelling, circle time, music, arts)
• Organize nap and snack hours
• Supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times
• Track children’s progress and report to parents
• Communicate with parents regularly
• Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards

Qualifications

• Must hold 12 Early Childhood Education Units
• Must have a High School Diploma (Bachelor's degree preferred)
• Must demonstrate the ability to work well with young children
• Provide proof of vaccination against COVID 19

Compensation: $17-$20, Commensurate to education and experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
